The Bible came alive for Jeanne Kun during her college years, when she entered into a deeper relationship with God through the Charismatic Renewal. "I developed a great hunger for Scripture as I fell in love with the Lord and discovered that I could meet him in his word." It was the beginning of a life-changing encounter that has continued over many years.

Not every day is a mountaintop experience, Jeanne admits. “Pondering Scripture will transform you over time, but sometimes it feels dry and routine.” Her advice: Persevere. Vary your approach, and keep asking the Lord for “eyes to see.” Exploring a Bible passage is like staring at a diamond or precious stone, she says. “You hold it in your hands, turning it this way and that to observe its different facets. As you do, the Holy Spirit sheds light on it. You notice fresh new angles and insights that connect with your life and lead you to God.”
