What do you think are some of the most pressing ills confronting the world today? Abortion? Human slavery? Euthanasia? It seems, more and more, that questions like these are up for grabs. People wonder, “What is the right way?” “Is there even a right way at all?”

In an effort to answer these questions, people tend to turn to one of three different possible sources of authority. One source says that each person has the right to decide for himself or herself what is right and wrong. Therefore, choosing to have an abortion is strictly a personal matter, and society should honor each person’s choice—just as long as it doesn’t hurt anyone else.

As a second source, many Christians look to Scripture as the sole voice of authority. This is a better answer than relying on their own consciences. But there are troubling passages in Scripture that can lead to confusion. For instance, the Bible never condemns slavery outright, and some parts of the Old Testament even seem to endorse the practice.     ...the results certainly far outweigh the cost!..in my life experience thus far, the results are inner peace & conviction, joy and unwavering hope that God is leading the way & journeying closely, when we choose the way of Christ. It’s definitely challenging and is a continuing struggle but once we choose the way of Christ, no other else compares to it.
