Found in the pages of the Bible between Exodus’ exciting story of the Israelites’ deliverance from Egypt and Numbers’ account of their relationship with God during long wanderings in the wilderness, the Book of Leviticus can seem to be a rather dull collection of rules governing every detail of the Israelites’ lives.
