Work, household chores, church commitments, school projects, and sports practices! How many days do you fall into bed feeling as if you were in motion all day without a moment to take a deep breath? Unfortunately, for many people, the sensation of being forcefully spun around in a daily whirlpool is all too commonplace.
Government statistics support the notion that we’re all too busy. Family and personal time for the average working couple has decreased twenty-two hours per week since 1970. The average person today works an additional 164 hours each year (equivalent to an extra month) than workers did a generation ago. Many parents even sacrifice sleep just to carve out more time to accomplish all that needs to be done.
A Question of Balance.
