Our celebration of Advent prepares us to eagerly welcome Christ at Christmas and when he comes again in glory.
Light all four candles this week
.Opening prayer: All make the sign of the cross and say: “May we keep the Lord’s words in our hearts and minds.”
Closing prayer: “Our Christ is near. Let him find us loving one another when he comes.”
Response: “Come, Lord Jesus, come quickly!”
Or
Sing: O come, thou Rod of Jesse’s stem,
From every foe deliver them
That trust thy mighty power to save,
And give them vic’try o’er the grave.
Rejoice! Rejoice! Emmanuel
Shall come to thee, O Israel.
End with an “Our Father.”
