Every Christian has a conversion story. Most conversion stories are slow and happen over a life time. But then there are the dramatic ones that happen in an instant, like the Apostle Paul on the road to Damascus.
The June issue of The Word Among Us featured a “second chance” conversion story like this. In it, Rob Eisenbach tells how he encountered the Holy Spirit in a sudden, profound, and life-changing way through the simple prayer of a friend he called “Larry.” I know Rob’s story very well, because I am “Larry.” I’m sharing my own story now, with Rob’s encouragement, as a further witness to the power of the Holy Spirit.
