Do you have a story of faith to share with others? Many of us think that if we haven’t experienced a dramatic conversion, we won’t have anything to share that would inspire others to draw closer to the Lord. That’s probably not true.
When we think back over our lives for instances in which the Lord has touched us, there is probably more than one story that will touch others as well. And even if the stories do not involve dramatic circumstances, they can illustrate, in concrete terms, that God is alive today and present in the Eucharist and in his body, the church.
Love Is the Reason.
As Catholics, we don’t often see ourselves as evangelizers. We can be turned off by the idea of “Bible thumping” or “pushing” our religion onto others. We might even worry about sounding prideful.
