In our busy lives we often put the Divine on the backburner; God ranks second or lower on our immediate to-do list .
At least this was my life until I became seriously ill.
My desert experience of illness awakened within my being the flickerings of the Holy Spirit. Like the Baptist, I returned from that desert with a burning desire, dare I say enflamed. Prayer with gratitude and acts with love are my goal. Human weakness causes wavering but the desert retreat worked.
I have not been saved as yet, but I have been converted. My conversion allows me to walk daily with the Divine at my side, in my soul, and in my actions.
Rejoice, rejoice, the Lord is waiting for us to ‘be still and know.’

Cancer has its many blessed manifestations.
