If you are like most people, the thought of Christmas causes a mixture of joy and anxiety, of hope and concern. . .

Even though it’s a joyful time, there’s always so much to do. School plays, Christmas concerts, visiting relatives, office and family parties, special Masses, Christmas shopping, Christmas cards—So many things compete for our attention!

With all this going on, it’s no wonder that our focus often shifts from welcoming Jesus to the busyness of life. How can we make Advent and Christmas different this year? Scripture promises that, if we commit ourselves to seeking Jesus this Advent, we will surely find him.
