Urgent Message from Japan: “Please Pray for Miracles”

Did you know that The Word Among Us has a Japanese language edition, with readers in various parts of Japan?

Kameko Horie spearheaded the project more than twenty years ago (click here to read her inspiring story, which we published in our April 1997 issue). She e-mailed our Maryland office from her home in Tokyo in the aftermath of the devastating earthquake and tsunami that hit Japan on March 11.

“Please pray for all victims of the disaster,” she writes. If the address list of Japanese subscribers is any indication, she thinks, “there must be some readers of The Word Among Us among them.” Kameko especially requests “urgent prayers” with regard to the critical situation at the nuclear power plant.
