When I was a child, I loved the Gospel readings at Mass. To me, it seemed that Jesus and his apostles were always on an adventure.
Jesus was always rescuing someone, healing someone, or challenging someone. I would imagine myself as a part of that little band of disciples, traveling through Galilee, fishing in the great sea, sitting at Jesus’ feet, and helping those who were in need find their way through the crowds to the Messiah.
