I converted from atheism to Catholicism after I graduated from university in 1991, at the age of twenty-two. Then, in 2002, I committed my life to Christ as a consecrated virgin. From the beginning, I was drawn to the person of Jesus Christ, and his Holy Mother stayed somewhere in the shadows. I would pray the Rosary with other people, but I couldn’t say anything about having a personal relationship with Mary. It simply did not exist.
